After last year’s much-loved Heywood Civic Centre pantomime was cancelled due to the pandemic, everyone at Your Trust has been determined to make sure the festive staple could go ahead in 2021.

Over the last year, Heywood Civic Centre has been an important Covid Testing Centre for the region. Whilst it was originally thought that the venue would be able to revert to its normal use at the end of the summer, a decision has been made to leave the testing centre in situ until the end of the year. This has led to many Heywood Civic Centre events being postponed until 2022, but with support from partners Trio Entertainment and Rochdale Borough Council, Cinderella will go to the ball after all!

Heywood’s Christmas pantomime for 2021 Cinderella will now be staged at Heywood Sports Village, from Saturday 18th December to Tuesday 28th December, as the venue’s sports hall undergoes a magical transformation into a temporary theatre space, ready to welcome Heywood families back again.

Starring former Coronation Street star Steven Arnold, Cinderella is the rags to riches tale where dreams come true. Cinderella is doomed to live un-happily ever after with her two horrible Ugly Sisters, but with the help of her silly friend Buttons and a magical Fairy Godmother, she heads off to the ball to meet her Prince Charming.

Cinderella runs at Heywood Sports Village, Saturday 18 – Tuesday 28 December. Tickets start at just £8, click here to book.
