We have a host of activities taking place over the summer holiday. The 2024 summer programme will be available nearer the time, but for an example of what takes place, see our 2023 activities below.
Multi Activity Mornings
Our multi activity package for children aged 8 years and above runs over four mornings in the school holidays and includes kayaking, raft building, sailing, windsurfing, bell boat, paddleboarding, Giant SUP and team building activities.
Multi activity sessions are an ideal introduction to outdoor pursuits, an opportunity to make new friends and have a school holiday with a difference!
Make sure to bring a towel, shoes you don’t mind getting wet, swimming kit, a drink and a snack.

Youth One-Day Paddlesport Course
The Youth One-day Paddlesport Course is designed for children aged 8 years and above and is an ideal introduction to paddlesports. Using both Sit on Top Kayaks and Paddleboards you will be introduced to basic Paddlesport skills as well as aspects of safety and rescue.
On completion, you will gain membership to Hollingworth Lake Activity Club, which runs weekly sessions throughout the year.
Make sure to bring a towel, shoes you don’t mind getting wet, swimming kit and lunch.
Mondays throughout the summer holidays

Youth Sailing Stage 1 & 2 Course
The Youth Sailing Stage 1 & 2 course is run over two consecutive days and is designed to teach children aged 8 years and above some of the basic skills needed to sail a small dinghy.
You will cover various sailing techniques including controlling speed, turning the boat and capsize recovery and learn some basic sailing theory such as rules of the road, rigging and basic wind awareness.
By the end of the course you will have a range of sailing skills and background knowledge and will be well on the way to becoming a confident and independent sailor!
On completion, you will gain membership to Hollingworth Lake Activity Club, which runs weekly sessions throughout the year.
