Youth Windsurfing Stage 1 & 2 Course
The Youth Windsurfing Stage 1 & 2 course is run over two consecutive days from 10am to 4pm and designed to teach children aged 10 years (or Year 5 Primary school) to 14 years old some of the basic windsurfing skills needed to control your board and sail. You will cover various windsurfing techniques including controlling speed, turning the board and selfrescue and learn some basic windsurfing theory such as rules of the road, rigging and basic wind awareness. By the end of the course you will have a range of windsurfing skills and background knowledge and will be well on the way to becoming a confident and independent windsurfer. On completion, you will gain membership to Hollingworth Lake Activity Club, which runs weekly sessions throughout the year.
