On 21 June, we’re celebrating International Day of Yoga The theme for 2023 is Humanity with the goal to raise awareness of yoga and help people incorporate it into their daily lives.

Yoga is a holistic discipline that combines physical postures, breathing exercises, meditation to promote physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing.

To celebrate this day, we are holding taster sessions in Your Trust centres across the borough. Check out the timetable below and come along and join us!
Taster sessions are free for everyone to attend. For yoga classes, these are free to Your Trust members with a charge for non-members.

Dance Studio 16+Yoga is a physical exercise dating back to ancient times, and helps to create a better sense of relaxation and ease with those who practice the exercise regularly.

Fun is the main focus with songs and play used to spark creativity, be active and coregulate.

2 – 2.45pmInclusive Yoga TherapyDance Studio16+Sessions designed for people with learning or multiple disabilities, includes stretching, breathing, relaxation, sound/rhythm and sensory exercises.
3 – 3.30pmTaster – Intro to YogaDance Studio18+A specialist class using yoga to target back flexibility, movement and strength.
3.45 – 4.15pmTaster – Back Care YogaDance Studio18+A basic yoga class that focusing on poses that strengthen back muscles, improve flexibility and ease muscle tension in both the upper and lower back.
