Congratulations to our ‘Transformational Leaders’
As we prepare for the next GM Active Transformational Leadership programme, we’re saying a huge congratulations to our three managers, (l-r) Andrew Entwistle, Toni Cooper and Damien Ellison who successfully completed the very first programme recently.
The Transformational Leadership programme aims to steer the transition from being ‘fitness and facilities’ managers to become future leaders of public health, wellbeing and communities, inspiring the region’s community leisure workforce to offer new ways of helping people across Greater Manchester live healthy, happy and longer lives.
The programme has been created to empower staff to play a greater role in developing new wellness services and have the latest insight and skills to help the sector more effectively address the huge health and physical activity inequalities that exist across the region’s diverse communities.
