Did you know that Hollingworth Lake Adventure and Water Activity Centre is able to offer activities to people with disabilities or additional needs?
Our Inclusive Watersports Taster Sessions provide an opportunity for you to try out some of our accessible water sports, including Drascombe sailing and rafted canoeing and are designed for participants who can independently self-transfer or can be hoisted onto the equipment using our Oxford Dipper Hoist (please bring your own sling).
No previous experience is necessary and these events are suitable for anybody who considers themselves to have a disability or additional need. Participants must be 8 years or older and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. One carer or support worker can attend free of charge.
