Future Movement

Future Movement is a free course for people aged 16-21, taking place with Touchstones, Rochdale in collaboration with Rambert London.

We’ll support you to push yourself, try exciting new things and develop new skills outside of a traditional learning environment. You’ll meet with guest artists and people who work in the arts and the creative industries who’ll share knowledge and information on their careers in the cultural sector, as well as help you explore your own creativity.

Build up those skills and knowledge of various creative positions – including producing, marketing, social media, filming, directing, writing, designing… and so much more!

Who is Future Movement for?

It is open for anyone who lives in Rochdale aged 16-21 who wants to be brilliant and daring and explore where their inner creativity can take them.

Do I need any creative experience?

No! We want anyone and everyone. Creativity is a spectrum and it’s driven by what makes you passionate, what inspires you, your ambitions, beliefs and motivations.

How much time will I need to give?

Sessions will be held every Tuesday 6pm – 8pm during term time.*

There will be FREE trips out which will take place during half-term or on weekends.

There will also be an opportunity to have 1-2-1 check-ins with our facilitator who will support you on your journey.

*Places are limited so you will be expected to attend every session.

How much does it cost?

Nothing at all!

Future Movement is free. You will need to get to your Future Movement studio location on a weekly basis for the meetings, but if the cost of this is a concern, please talk to us.

How do I apply?

The first step is to read through the information sheet and apply by using the application form below. Places are limited but we will get in touch with everyone who applies to let them if they are successful.
