Opportunity: Women’s Community Movement Project
In October 2018, Contemporary Forward will exhibit new work by internationally-renowned artist Rachel Kneebone. Alongside this, we will commission acclaimed choreographer TC Howard to work with a group of up to 30 women from the Rochale Borough.
We are looking for women from the borough from a diverse range of backgrounds to take part in this exciting new project. Together, you will create a new piece of dance in response to the importance of movement in Kneebone’s practice. The piece will be premiered at the opening of the show beginning in the historic Great Hall at Rochdale Town Hall and reaching its finale in the exhibition space at Touchstones.
