Heywood Civic is reopening in February 2026 and is hosting a Recruitment Day at Heywood Market on Friday 21 November, 12 – 4.30pm to meet people who are interested in filling a variety of roles and be part of this exciting new chapter.

We’re looking for enthusiastic people to fill the following type of roles:

Café Supervisor – Use your excellent customer service skills to be the face of our catering operations by leading and managing an effective food and drink service, providing line management to staff, ordering stock, ensuring food hygiene standards are maintained, supporting menu development and ensuring weekly health and safety checks are completed.

Café Assistant – Use your excellent customer service skills to be the face of our catering operations by providing an effective food and drink service, advising customers, taking payments, preparing and clearing the café’s area and counters and restocking shelves and fridges.

Multi-Skilled Theatre Technician – Assist with all general technical aspects of Your Trust performance spaces to facilitate the delivery of shows, events, functions and meetings along with adequate preparation of rooms and facilities.  This also includes assisting the Technical Management Team to deliver high quality technical services, liaise with clients and maintain a safe working environment along with being the technical representative for Your Trust for technical management, operations and production when on shift.

Front of House Managers – Use your excellent customer service skills to be the face of our entertainment and events operation by leading the management of events and activities, providing line management to staff, ensuring regular and effective communication across the Team as well as ensuring exceptional customer service and health and safety standards.

Event Attendant – Use your excellent customer service skills to be the face of our entertainment and events operations by providing an effective bar service, front of house and box office operations along with clearing up after the event whilst ensuring all licencing laws are upheld.
