Find out what’s on for families this summer
Rochdale’s Cultural Education Partnership, Create Rochdale has produced a booklet containing information about some of the family friendly cultural events and activities taking place across Rochdale Borough this summer. There are over 25 events to explore including outdoor cinema screenings, workshops, community festivals and live music. Most of the events are free to attend and, throughout August, children aged 5 – 15 will be able to access free local bus travel as part of the government’s Great British Summer Savings Scheme.
Over 5000 printed copies of the booklet have been given to families through local primary schools. You can also explore the booklet here:
The booklet has been produced thanks to Arts Council England Place Partnership funding secured by Rochdale Development Agency and supported by Rochdale Borough Council.
Throughout the year families can find out about other cultural events and activities via the Rochdale Creates website where there are event listings and a digital map.
