We are looking for young filmmakers and film fans aged 16-19 to take part in our BFI Film Academy Short Course. This project will cover practical filmmaking skills, film theory, programming, distribution and certification.
During this project, you will work with your fellow young filmmakers, and a range of industry professionals, as you make a short film from start to finish. You will learn about everything from development, production and post-production as you are guided through the filmmaking process, and an opportunity for your film to be screened in a top cinema in Manchester. Attend masterclasses led by industry professionals, use professional filmmaking equipment, and join our growing network of young creatives!
If you have any questions or want to chat to a member of the team before applying, email creativecommunities@yourtrustrochdale.co.uk.
