Windsurfing

Hollingworth Lake is a popular venue for windsurfing due to the good clean winds and a large water area. We have a wide variety of boards and rigs to meet the requirements of all windsurfers from beginners to those working towards instructional qualifications. 

All of our windsurfing activities are run to the guidelines and recommendations of the Royal Yachting Association, the governing body for windsurfing in Great Britain. 

Adult Windsurfing Course

Learn to windsurf in just two days!

An introduction to windsurfing for complete beginners, covering everything you need to know to get afloat and learn the ropes.

In this internationally recognised windsurfing qualification you will learn how to rig up your kit and move about freely on the water.

Kids Club Windsurfing

Hollingworth Lake Activity Club runs sailing, windsurfing and kayaking sessions every Saturday from 10:00 – 11.30, for children and young people aged 8-17 years old.

Private Tuition 1:1 or 2:1

Our qualified instructor and coaches can offer private sessions tailored to meet your needs – ideal for everyone from beginners to the advanced.

Available in 1:1 or 2:1 tuition.

Whether you’re looking to start out in Windsurfing or looking for top tips on how to improve, you can book a private lesson for one person or two.

Private sessions can be booked in 1 hour slots.
