As a Trustee, you will be joining a welcoming and supportive group of individuals who bring a rich mix of skills, experiences and perspectives from all walks of life. Our Board is made up of people who are passionate about making a difference and who value collaboration, learning and mutual respect.
Being a trustee is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a cause you care about while also developing your own skills and experience.
Our work has never been more relevant, as we continue to support communities through vital services that promote health, wellbeing and cultural engagement.
The Board is focused on strengthening the collaborative partnerships already in place, recognising that working together is key to our future success. We also wish to diversify our Board so that it reflects our community better.
We’re seeking individuals who are talented, passionate and well-connected to help guide us through the next exciting – and ambitious – phase of our development. Over the next five years we will be opening a range of new venues and services and we need trustees that can support us with this important work.
The role can offer valuable personal and professional growth that can support your career or enrich your life more broadly.
We are looking for trustees to support us in developing our approach to:
- Understanding, developing and measuring opportunities for increased social impact
- Identifying and managing opportunities (and risks) for growth and development. This could be with a commercial focus, or from a social value perspective
- Improving the health of our local communities at a macro and micro level
We are interested in people from all walks of life.
For example you may be:
- A senior finance or accounting specialist
- A community leader or someone with great
knowledge of your local community and its needs - A leader from a leisure or sporting background or organisation
- A senior marketing specialist
- An equality and diversity expert
- A senior ICT consultant or specialist
