“It’s true what they say, you can taste love in food” Fehmina
Whether preparing a meal for a love one or cooking for someone who is unwell, making food for another person is a means of caring for them. Besides cooking, the physical act of feeding another person; a baby learning to eat solids or an individual struggling to feed themselves is an intimate means of nurturing them.
“For some people raising a cup to their mouth and sipping from the wide lip is a tricky manoeuvre. Drinking cups like this one with it’s two handles and spout make it easier to stay hydrated without spills. Its a beautifully decorated china cup with a purpose, much nicer than the plastic versions more in use these days” – Community Curator Linda
