Our 120 acre lake, situated at the foot of the Pennines, offers spectacular views and reliable winds – an ideal sailing venue for all ability levels.
Hollingworth Lake Adventure & Water Activity Centre offers complete beginner sessions for both adult and children, or courses for beginners to more advanced sailors and instructors who are looking for qualifications.
All courses are run to the guidelines and recommendations of the Royal Yachting Association, the governing body for sailing in Great Britain.

FunBoat Sailing Taster Sessions
Come and try our new (to us) FunBoats! The clue is in the name, these small nippy boats will let you experience the thrill of sailing on your own or in a two all in one hour.
Participants must be at least one metre tall and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
